The SBC-GX533 Development Kit for Embedded Linux with optional Java Technology features a compact implementation of the GNU/Linux operating system based on the proven v2.6 Linux kernel release. This has been optimized for use on Arcom hardware platforms and is pre-loaded and configured into the embedded Flash. This offers an embedded version of Linux with a proven background, combined with a high reliability journalling Flash File system.

The Development Kit includes the SBC-GX533 embedded PC single board computer fitted with 512Mbytes of DDR DRAM and 32Mbytes of Flash along with cables, connectors, power supply, software and an information CD.

The compressed embedded Linux image occupies approximately 13Mbytes of the onboard Flash drive leaving 19Mbytes of physical memory (equivalent to about 38Mbytes of usable space) for your Linux application and general data storage.
