Rugged industrial compact enclosure and touchscreen displays matched to the VIPER

The VIPER ICE (industrial compact enclosure) is optimized for the PXA255 XScale based VIPER single board computer. The VIPER ICE consists of a painted aluminum chassis, the VIPER-UPS (AC/DC input) uninterruptible power supply, internal cable looms and the option of fitting an NEC 5.5" TFT color flat panel with touchscreen.

The enclosure offers sufficient space to stack either one or two PC/104 expansion modules (1 for the TFT display based unit, 2 for the non-display option) onto the single board computer and provide cable connections from the enclosure.

Electromagnetic Compatibility and Safety

The VIPER ICE enclosure has been tested for FCC/CE compliance for EMC and safety regulations. Please refer to the Technical documentation for details of the Declaration of Conformity.

The following EMC Standards will be applicable to this enclosure (using screened cables for the USB, serial ports and Ethernet): EN55022 Class A equipment (EN61000-6-3:2001) for emissions and EN61000-6-2:2001 for industrial immunity. The product has also been designed to comply with EN60950:2000 safety standard for Information Technology Equipment.
