Delivering the power of the Atom processor in an EPIC form factor
The Catalyst EC, based on the Intel® Atom processor, offers high performance and very low heat generation. Targeted for applications such as industrial, medical, and transportation where low power and fanless operation are critical, the Catalyst EC consists of an EPIC-compliant carrier board mounted with Eurotech's Catalyst Module XL computer-on-module.
The Catalyst EC excels in performance, graphics, and communication while maintaining low cost. In addition, the EPIC carrier board supports connections for a range of wireless options such as Bluetooth, 802.11, and GPS. Custom solutions can easily meet unique application requirements. Flexibility is also offered through a range of operating system choices including Windows® Embedded Standard, Wind River Linux3.0, and targeted real time operating systems (RTOS).
