EPIC SBC with Intel® Atom™
Eurotech's Vector SBC is a highly integrated single board computer in an EPIC form factor that a delivers the power of the Intel Atom Z5xx processor. Supporting CPU speeds up to 1.6GHZ and a rich suite of multimedia and I/O capabilities, the Vector is a flexible embedded solution for transportation, industrial, medical, and other markets which want to take advantage of the low power consumption and high performance of the Intel Atom Z5xx processor in a robust and efficient SBC design.
The Vector supports a comprehensive set of I/O connections including Gigabit Ethernet, dual Can 2.0, high speed USB host and client, serial ports, and more. It is a flexible board with a wide range PSU, ideal for industrial or in-vehicle applications, and brings out several expansion options such as Mini-PCIe, SATA, CompactFlash and on-board Solid State Disk. This gives OEMs several boot options as well as configuration choices. Windows Embedded Standard, Windows CE, and Wind River Linux 3.0 are all supported on the Vector, and Eurotech's powerful Everyware™ Software Framework, a Java-based IDE tool, is also available.
